Measurable and repeatable performance improvement

Explore Voyage Automation

The execution layer of Voyage Automation

HyperPilot ensures that optimal decisions are not just defined, but sailed.

Our automation is strengthened and deployed by our expert team of Captains and Naval Engineers, combining technology with real-world maritime knowledge, and ensures safe integration with your onboard systems, crew adoption and training support as well as improved compliance with optimal plans.

HyperPilot ensures optimal voyage decisions are executed precisely, helping you turn optimisation into real savings.

Only part of the expected savings is realised

Vessel crews are overburdened

As a result:

Receive weather-based speeds plans

Communicate them to the vessel once a day

Rely on manual execution by the crew

Most fleets today:
In reality:

Speed adjustments are not consistently applied

Priorities shift during the voyage

Progress, weather and commercial factors change continually

The challenge

Optimisation fails without execution

Compliance with optimal plans is usually low, limiting the impact of even the best optimisation tools.

HyperPilot receives route and speed plans from our voyage optimisation platform, Pythia

Receive

How it works

Reliable data, collected and delivered in real time

Teams onshore use Pythia’s vessel-specific intelligence to optimise speed strategies aligned with commercial and operational goals. These decisions are transferred onboard via satellite and executed directly through HyperPilot’s propulsion automation system, which continuously adjusts main engine output in real time to maintain optimal performance throughout the voyage.

The result? Optimal speeds are followed precisely, not approximately, at all times, under the Captain’s supervision.

Manual processes elimination: automates the continual implementation of speed adjustments for maximum operational efficiency.

From Pythia to ECDIS to execution: the route file follows a seamless flow from Pythia’s optimisation algorithms to the ship’s ECDIS, and then to the main engine.

Automation that knows when not to automate: real-time safety checks automatically disengage the system if the vessel deviates from course, schedule, or safe operating parameters - with the Captain in control at all times.

Direct integration with major speed pilot providers (Nabtesco, Kongsberg, Manta Marine etc.)

Key capabilities

Built for safe, continuous operation onboard

Neuro is the onboard hardware gateway connecting directly to vessel systems to collect high-resolution operational data with minimal installation complexity.

Without a unified digital backbone, operators face, True operational efficiency begins with structured and reliable vessel data.

HyperPilot eliminates the manual process of implementing speed changes and ensures consistent execution across voyages.
