Athens, Greece - 26 October 2026

Venergy Maritime, the Piraeus-based tanker operator, has partnered with DeepSea Technologies to integrate its current and future fleet into DeepSea’s Vessel Intelligence platform, ensuring every vessel operates on a 100% data-driven model from day one.

Established as the shipowning arm of V Group, Venergy is committed to embedding sustainability across its operations by pairing investments in highly efficient newbuilds with advanced digital optimisation tools. The company will expand its fleet to over 30 newbuild vessels before the end of the decade.

By adopting DeepSea’s Vessel Core intelligence platform, Venergy aims to tackle two of shipping’s biggest data hurdles: poor data quality and limited access to key performance information. The platform will serve as a performance backbone, providing robust data cleansing and predictive vessel modeling that enables Venergy to build tailored internal analytics tools over time.

This partnership empowers Venergy and its chartering partners to make real-time, data-backed decisions on hull and machinery health, fuel consumption, emissions, and overall fleet efficiency as the fleet expands.

The move reflects a broader shift across the maritime industry. As LLMs and business intelligence tools become central to modern fleet management, forward-thinking operators are prioritising high-quality data and flexible infrastructure over generic, off-the-shelf solutions.

"As Venergy Marine Management enters its next phase of growth, data and technology will be central to how we manage our fleet. Our partnership with DeepSea provides a strong foundation for greater efficiency, smarter decision-making and sustainable long-term performance."

- Georgios E. Poularas/ Managing Director, VENERGY Maritime

"While Venergy is a young company, this partnership reflects the deep operational expertise of its leadership. Georgios and his team understand firsthand the potential pitfalls of high-frequency analytics, which led them to prioritize DeepSea’s data quality, robust algorithms, and scalable foundation. We are thrilled to partner with Venergy during this exciting period of growth."

- Panos Tsonis, CEO, DeepSea Technologies
